Ed Dukstein

Chief Audio Engineer

Chief Audio Engineer Ed Dukstein is no stranger to WE THREE. He has been with the band for 17 years.

Some of Ed’s career highlights include touring internationally with GLORIA ESTEFAN and the MIAMI SOUND MACHINE as the band’s chief monitor engineer and working as an audio design engineer for the Pittsburgh-based Sextant Group.

Ed was the sound engineer for WQED Multimedia Producer Rick Sebak’s television documentaries: “ Something About Oakland”, “Things That Are Still Here”, “A Hot Dog Program” and “ Great Old Amusement Parks”.

In addition, he spent 10 years working with Production Masters Incorporated (PMI) as its Chief Audio Engineer and was a broadcast television live audio engineer and video editor.

He helped PMI earn the prestigious Clio Award of Excellence in Advertising and Design for the radio commercial “Kibble Select Hollywood”.


Ed earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music with a major in Music Engineering Technology and a minor in Electrical Engineering from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL. He is one of only 85 people worldwide to be CTS-D certified (Certified Technical Specialist-Design). Ed is also a member of the Audio Engineer Society.
